Terms for using Shipping Payments.

Digiboys provides this app to Shopify merchants. By using it, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. Contact contact@digiboys.co.za with questions.

Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of shipping fees, recipient details, customer communications and required permissions. Review every request before sending. You remain responsible for your tax treatment, refund obligations, courier booking and fulfilment. Use the app only for lawful shipping-payment requests.

Invoices and checkout

The app creates a separate Shopify invoice and payment order for the additional fee. It does not book delivery. Buyer-selected tips can increase the checkout total. Payment methods and checkout availability depend on Shopify and the merchant’s configuration. Sent invoices cannot be edited in the app and do not expire automatically. An already-open checkout may remain payable.

Free allowance and subscription

The free allowance is five successfully created invoices total, without a monthly reset. Unlimited requests cost US$1 every 30 days, subject to Shopify approval and applicable taxes. The fifth invoice never triggers an automatic upgrade. Shopify hosts plan selection and management. Failed creation and previews do not count; successful creation counts even if email delivery fails. Ambiguous creation reserves a slot until its outcome is known.

After paid access ends, unused free allowance or an active subscription is needed for new invoices. Existing requests remain available while the app is installed and account data remains. Reinstalls preserve usage unless required complete account erasure has occurred. Billing adjustments or app-charge refund requests should be sent to our support address and are handled through Shopify where applicable.

Compatibility and availability

The initial release supports ZAR, GBP, USD and EUR with shipping tax disabled. Changes to settings may pause sending. Shopify outages, API limits, permissions or payment-provider failures can delay creation and reconciliation. Review warnings and do not create duplicate charges to resolve an interrupted request.

Termination and changes

You may manage your plan through Shopify or uninstall the app. Existing invoices are Shopify records and may remain payable. We may suspend misuse or unsafe operation and update these terms as the service changes. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
